About the Author   

Mildred Pope is a mother of three and a grandmother of seven. At bath time, her children's familiar saying was, "but I don't wanna take a bath!" Imagine the surprise when her grandchildren whined the same phrase a generation later! She eventually journalized the many things the kids didn't "wanna" do and decided to share some funny and delightful stories with others. After the completion of But I Don't Wanna Take a Bath!, Mike and Tyke's series of dilemmas continue as they prepare to go to school, eat their veggies, and use the potty. You won't want to miss a single series!

Mildred Pope retired from AT&T after 25 years. Currently, she is the Broker/Owner of M. Pope Realty in Lithonia, Georgia, and a Substitute Teacher for the Dekalb County School System in the surrounding Decatur, Stone Mountain, and Lithonia areas. She was born in Athens, Georgia and attended Burney Harris High School --class of 1967. Mildred has a BA in Human Resources with a concentration in Behavioral Science & Management.
